Time Out

Saylie's mind is apparently exploding with new knowledge because she is finding new things and learning things so quickly. That is mostly a good thing, but i swear...sometimes she pushes me to my limit.

This is proof that she knows better. She understands what NO means...

Last night this was funny...today it is ridiculous.

But today is different. Saylie had her first time out today. It was followed by another...and another. It started when she repeatedly pulled out all the cd's and discs she could find and as soon as she was found out she hauled away to hide in one of her great spots. (under chairs, behind trash cans, and in corners with her face smashed against the wall)
The next time was because she was taunting me by doing the same thing I had just scolded her for. I would say no and she would look at me and smile then shake her head and keep doing what she knew she shouldn't be doing.

The third time...well you decide...

It appears that she has been listening at church more than we thought. She attempted to literally feast upon the words of my scriptures and now two pages of scripture (see how the footnotes are gone?) are in her belly... AWESOME! I was mad, but on second thought, maybe she had good intentions.

Saylie and Grace would be great friends. Seriously. I love that she "feasted" on the scriptures, how spiritual of her :). I think the terrible twos start WAY earlier. I'm just sayin'. It honestly is the best of times and the worst of times.

I love the picture of her crying by the scriptures! Was that after she realized she was in trouble?!

Hilarious! I love it when they learn to hide. She has so much personality and you can totally see it in her pictures.

We have a picture of Penny as a baby when I found her feasting on the word also. I think Juliann was a missionary so I sent it to her. I don't think she thought it was as cute/sweet as I did.
