Scoot Scoot Boogey

Saylie is well on her way to crawling. She started off laying on her belly like a beached whale and eventually pushed herself with her toes. (doesn't that seme like the hardest way to propel yourself?) Then she realized she could get some help up top and has now graduated to army crawling. She only goes about a foot or two at a time and then she is spent and just lays her head on the carpet to rest or whine a little while. It is so amazing and exciting and so so sad at the same time.

We noticed she gravitates toward things she can't have. She'll pass the doll and the blocks and head straight for a laptop cord or an outlet. She is living up to her reputation as a crazy monkey. She is so so fun!

This crawling has been convenient lately as Chris and I have been seriously pondering decisions about where to live and what jobs to pursue , which one to accpet. She has a great blanket that a friend of ours made and it is a map of the United States. We have joked that we will put her on the map in Mexico and see which state she crawls toward. If only it were that easy right?

ENJOY!

This is Saylie in her jumper that Grandma A got to keep at her house for the babies. These videos aren't her best jumping but they are still cute!

This is the first time we caught her movin on camera. (you kinda get an idea of her map blanket from the video) click the random link. Blogger was being retarded trying to upload and embed this video!

Jenny! I found your blog from Becca's. This is your cousin Kristin by the way! Saylie is adorable! She seems like such a happy baby! Good work! It's so fun to see my cousins and sisters as mothers.
