Go to doctor's office and sign waivers that I won't sue if anything goes wrong. Take 2 Valium (probably my faaaavorite part of the whole thing. I think Valium is my new bff-in a non addicted way!) Get eyes dilated and numbed while waiting in the waiting room for a long time. Sit in chair while Chris reads book. Get bored with Chris reading book. Cross my legs casually and start kicking my leg. Kick Chris' book out of his hand. Laugh hysterically. Wait for him to pick up book and read again. repeat process. Laugh harder. Call mom and sisters to tell them how much I love Valium and how funny I was when I kicked the book out of Chris' hand.
Go back into exam room. Get shot in cheek to numb half of face. I only remember saying "woah, there's some pressure for ya!". Get more shots in cheek and eyelids. Try to look left and right (only one eye would do this so I looked like a google eyed freak. Have laser surgery. Take Lortab. Get in the car for a 4 hour road trip to parents house. Put on beautiful sequin pirate patch and matching headband/scarf that Kela made for me. (THANKS KELA!) Take rediculous pictures of myself with a huge gauze patch over my eye, topped with a sequin pirate patch. Send it to who knows how many people (sorry, I wasn't all there mentally...I really apologize if it caught you off guard!)
So for all those of you who missed my drugged texts, here are the pics.
And for those of you who had to be around me while "under the influence" I am so sorry. it was Mrs. Mood Swings for sure, sometimes funny, sometimes cranky, but all in all you guys really helped to make it as good as it could be!
Thanks!

Oh, Jenny. You make it all sound so light-hearted and almost fun. Chris must think you're a weirdo. Who knew the eye looked like the moon? It's an interesting photo.
On a more serious note, I'm sorry about this. It must be such a pain. At least you have that shiny eye patch and matching scarf. Scott recently received some kind of eye injury during an intramural game and wore a pirate eye patch for a while to protect his eye.
Good luck, I hope all these procedures do what they're supposed to do.
Dude!! Party Pirate Jenny was awesome. I had fun that weekend, at least :)
So glad all the eye stuff is going well (and yeah, who knew it looked so lunar!? Crazy!)!
