Beach Bummin It

So, Chris and I were super lucky this last week. We got to spend Mothers' Day week in the Outer Banks with his WHOLE family. Whole doesn't mean that it was huge, but the emphasis is because we were all in the same place at the same time....just for fun! As long as I have known Chris (6+ years) this has never happened. We have spent time all together but it was ALWAYS for a baptism or wedding or some other family event. This time it was simply to play and have fun. and so we did just that! Mike and Em researched and found the best house for us ever! "Winds of the Carolinas" was beachfront with a pool, 8 bedrooms with private baths, a private beach access, multiple level deck, hot tub...the whole bit. The kitchen had three ovens, two microwaves and two dishwashers. (it is sad to realize that those things are exciting to me now, but it was!) We did a lot of fun things.

• Boys surprised girls with "Spa Day". Facials, manicures and pedicures!
