some oldies but newsies

These are clips and pictures that aren't totally new, but i haven't blessed the blogosphere with them yet, so here ya go!

First, about a decade ago, we celebrated Halloween. Aunt Ceri sent Say some glittery red shoes and thus an idea was born. I was the wicked witch, Say was Dorothy, and Chris was the Yellow Brick Road.
Next, we celebrated Christmas. We went to Virginia to see some of our family and friends. It was busy but sooo fun. While we were there we did a ton of things, however only a few were caught on film--because we are lame photographers.
We planned it perfectly and Tiffany and John were able to come too so Say and Makayla had some great adventures!

Say had the best time making cookies. if you have any doubts, just check out her face! She was sooo excited!
Saylie got into my mascara and was so pleased with herself that she decided to come show me. (her expression here makes me die laughing. hahah she is such a loon!)

only to realize that i wasn't as pleased as she was and she was totally blindsided by the timeout that followed.
this is a few months old...like 5 or more, but she still has some rockin stilleto skills if you ask me. she loves shoes in general. in the morning when i get her up i will ask her what she wants to wear and without fail, she always says, "SHOES!" Luckily, i convince her to wear other things with them!

she is still the ever curious girl know and luckily Grandma is more patient than mom. Say was pretty much in heaven!
this is from Valentines Day. It captures Says enthusiasm and love of cookies so well!
