Getting Settled

Moving in is harder than I thought! SO many things become clear once furniture is out and you can really inspect the home.  We have been super busy painting, cleaning and getting things in order.  It is such a fun feeling to do things for yourself as an investment, rather than to make things livable or just for a landlord.  Say has LOVED having the space to roam around. Not surprisingly, she still finds her way into trouble, but she has been a trooper and we really love having her around.  She gets so excited about stuff and it makes it that much more fun. She will point to things in the house and say "pretty", "cool!", or "BIG!" (when the bed was delivered)

this was her contribution to our mattress shopping. whenever we would call to schedule delivery or ask something, they would take our name and say, "were you guys the ones in here with sleeping baby?" haha. this girl is just so fun!
