Saylie's got the music in her! If she hears the radio, or my ipod, or a commercial, or the Bubble Guppies theme, or any other rhytmical thing she shakes her little groove thang and smiles. It is so funny. It has made me very aware of all the places music exist in my life (like the grocery store). These are a few moments i've captured. Her moves need to develop a little more, but clearly she has a passion.
The hat was just because she had worn it last night and it was out. She just looks so funny in it and it makes me laugh so I put it on her as often as I can. In this particular context the hat added to the goofyness that is Saylie's personality.
Enjoy!
also... we have discovered that our child is a beggar. She is well fed at home, I swear! She just loves food and if we are eating it, she demands to do the same. I am so glad she is willing to try anything and doesn't have allergies, but sometimes I just want to enjoy something in peace. Case in point...Chris made eggs for breakfast. I got about a half bite into mine when she wanders over with her eyes locked on my plate and signed for eat. I couldn't get the food on my fork and in her mouth fast enough before she started making a loud MMMMM sound. Then her face got closer and closer to mine until our noses were practically touching just to be sure she didn't miss out on anything. When chris finished his and pulled out a glass of water for a drink she scurried off my lap and quickly blazed over the keyboard to him. She opened her mouth as to demand a drink. We laughed. He shared. I took these. (again with the hat because I just love it)

Note to self...drinks are best shared prior to eating. GROSS.
