Chris tried so hard to surprise me with tickets to the Christmas Spectacular, put on by the Rockettes, but in all his efforts to change account passwords and make a sneaky purchase he overlooked the delivery. The tickets were delivered to our hosue, where I work, and had to sign for them. I was really worried because I thought someone else's tickets were sent to the wrong address since I knew nothing about them and called Chris wondering how we find the owner of the tickets!!!! He caved and told me the surprise. It was really fun and man those girls can kick!! We did our best to honor the no pictures policy, but snagged this one before the show started.

Christmassness
We have had our tree up for quite a while, but we didn't have enough lights so there were "bald spots" on it. We have finally fixed that and are ready to show it off. We even have presents under awaiting to be given to those we love!
Also, we braved the South Carolina cold to go see the Roper Mountain Lights with our friends the Nichols. Because it was SO cold, we only uncovered our fingers to take a few pictures...none of the lights sadly. hahah we are so bad at pictures!
They have these huge "christmas cards" all over and you can put your face in the hole and take a picture. Chris would not let us go on to warmer things until I posed as a snowman, hence the pouty face.
And sadly, while you guys were all enjoying lovely fluffy snow, we had this...Rain and sleet that froze on branches. Woo-Hoo! Not as magical as a Christmas blizzard. It was kinda funny though because we went to the Christmas Party at our church and we were all sitting in the gym getting ready to watch the program and the power went out. It was CHAOS. It was funny though, I think the kids LOVED it. So make a snow angel for us in your nice soft powder and we'll keep dreaming of that White Christmas!
