Me & You for Two!

I always say I never felt like a newlywed because I have felt so comfortable with Chris and we dated for a good number of years before we were married. But as we celebrated our anniversary I thought about all the things we have been able to do together and I was so glad that I got to do those things with Chris. Cheesy as it sounds, my life would be so empty and reallly boring without him. I'm so lucky I can love what we've done, what we're doing and still be excited for what will come.

So pretty much, I love your stinkin guts bubba!

As a side note...I wish we had a great picture from our anniversary but we don't. 1- because we aren't really good at taking pics (but we are purchasing a newer camera and things will change!) and 2- because our real anniversary (Sunday) went something like this. Saturday night as we were going to sleep I asked if could open our presents because I am Captain Impatient! Chris said "No, it's not our anniversary yet." SO promptly at 5:30 am when I woke up for no reason, I nudged Chris, like a child, and said, "it's Sunday can I have my present?!" hahahah (that is a direct quote) So he got up and went to get my present and I got his. We read our cards, which turned out to be almost identical and opened our great gifts and then got up, had breakfast and got in the car to drive from DC back to Blacksburg. We drove the 3.5 hours in the rain. Got home, got ready for church (It was my turn to teach all the YW) went to church, went home, I packed a fresh batch of clothes and got in the car and drove back up to DC for work. You could say we are the romantic type. hahah

We did celebrate earlier in the weekend with a stop at the Brian Regan show. It was pretty HILARIOUS. Worth every penny. We laughed non stop and a few times I had to wipe the tears out of my eyes. Tia- you guys will love it!!! But anyway- I am such a lucky little girl to get to spend my days with Chris-aka Mr. Doodiehead, Doodle, Bubba, Bubs, Loverface, and the list continues! Pictures were taken of us at the show and after I preview them and perhaps touch them up I will post them....stay tuned...
