Christmas Break

As usual, I have been absent for A LONG TIME. Here's what you've missed.

Chris and I spent Christmas up in Northern Virignia with our families. We had a realy nice, calm Christmas. There aren't any kids around anymore so this year Chris and I were the ones waking everyone up at 7:30 to go downstairs and open presents! I still believe!! We got to talk to Ceri for a bit and that was sooo fun. She comes home from her mission to Minnesota in March! I can't wait--back to Christmas... We ate way too much WONDERFUL food. (thanks mom and Mrs. Comey- you guys are amazing!) I think at one point there were over 40 dozen cookies in my mom's kitchen...those were just the ones she made, not even the ones delivered to our house! So basically, yes we have some holiday poundage to shed! haha.

Chris and I spent New Years with Mike and Em and carried on the Chappell tradition of candy poker. It is so fun to have family around and be able to just hangout and relax. We love you guys- thanks for letting us crash! We had a BLAST!

The first week of January we went on a cruise to the Easter Caribbean with our friends the Chais. It is safe to say that you can't commit to a week long vacation on a boat with everyone. The Chais were AWESOME! We had so much fun playing cards, eating, sight seeing, eating, snuba, eating, etc. hahah Thanks you guys for making that such a fun trip. I'll put up some pics of our experiences...we had quite a few memorable ones!

We loved seeing old friends over the holidays and missed those of you who are farther away. We think of all of you guys often and just feel really lucky to have you in our lives!! WE LOVE YOU ALL!
